- CERTIFICATE IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: NQF LEVEL 4
Certificate in Human Resource Management is offered as a 1-year programme.
The primary purpose of the qualification is to provide learners with the appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes for the Human Resource functions at entry level in an organisation. The training in this programme allows for the learner to progress further and broaden their skills, knowledge, values and attitudes and gives learners the opportunity to move up the value chain.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Entry requirement to the Certificate in Human Resource Management programme shall be a Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) or Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Higher (NSSCH) provided that the candidate has passed six subjects with a minimum of 14 points.
OR
Enter with a NQF Level 3 qualification from any recognized institution.
OR
Enter through the mature age/recognition of prior learning, which includes formal, informal and non-formal learning and work experience.

- BACHELOR OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: NQF LEVEL 7
This qualification is a three (3) year degree with multiple exit levels. The first year the student can exit with a Certificate in Human Resource Management, NQF level 5, the second year the student can exit with a Diploma in Human Resource Management, NQF level 6.
The purpose of this qualification is to provide learners with the competencies needed to apply Human Resources Management actions in the world of work to ensure efficiency and high levels of productivity by the workforce. Graduates will deal with the effective management of an organisation’s workforce, from junior to senior staff members. The Human Resource (HR) Manager provides direction to management on recruitment, selection, induction, training, motivation and performance management of the workforce.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have obtained a minimum of 25 points in 6 subjects in the National Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary/Higher or the equivalent thereof to be admitted to the 3-year degree programme or may be admitted with a qualification at NQF Level 4 obtained at International Training College-Lingua or the equivalent thereof.
Mature Age applicants or applicants with non-Namibian school-leaving qualifications or with previous tertiary experience will be considered individually by the Examination Committee headed by the Director of Academic Affairs.

- BACHELOR OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (Hons): NQF LEVEL 8
The Bachelor in Human Resource Management (Hons.) is a programme in which the core human resource disciplines are enriched, later on allowing the students to embark on careers in fields as varied as human resources, business, management and marketing. The programme features a mix of theoretical, practical, and applied subjects explored and developed over the four academic years. It is designed to develop a student’s knowledge, skills and understanding of key functions of managing people in today’s business environment.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have obtained a qualification at NQF Level 7 at International Training College-Lingua or the equivalent thereof to be admitted to the 1-year Honours Degree programme.
Mature Age applicants or applicants with non-Namibian school-leaving qualifications or with previous tertiary experience will be considered individually by the Examination Committee headed by the Director of Academic Affairs.
