βPlan and study hard. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. It is important for you, as a student, to know who you are, where you are and what you want to doβ These are the words of Adriano Visagie addressing students at the Official Academic Opening 2024 earlier this month.
A few years ago, Visagie made a decision to pursue a Bachelorβs Degree in Human Resource Management at International Training College β Lingua (ITCL).
Looking back, he describes his experience at International Training College β Lingua as transformative. A moment that has shaped his life in many different ways. βI have learned a lot from my lecturers. They have pushed me in ways that I never thought I would be able to push myself. I have also networked with fellow studentsβ he notes.
Born and raised in Windhoek, Namibia; from a tender age, Visagie always wanted to live a life of purpose.
Visagie is a student, amongst other titles, and is currently working full time at First National Bank (FNB) as a Private Banker Analyst.
His inspiration is drawn from his parents for their dedication and hard work in giving him the best opportunities there is. He lives by the motto – βSparkle in your magicβ- which encapsulates seeing the spark and honoring the magic in every person and circumstance.
The multitalented, Visagie, is a religious man who strongly believes that God comes before anything. βWhen you put God before anything, all things will fall into placeβ he said.
In his spare time, Visagie likes to hike, anything adventurous.

Visagie is an international award winning actor, master of ceremonies and media personality.
He has been acting in theatre and film productions in Namibia and beyond, for more than 10 years; featuring in Theatre Productions such as One flew over the cuckoos nest which earned him best Actor in theatre at the Namibia film and theatre awards. Starring in ground breaking films which earned him International accolades such as Salute and the Kapana Movie.
In 2019 & 2020, Visagie hosted the MTC Namibia Annual Music Awards. In 2021, Visagie solely hosted the Miss Namibia Beauty Pageant setting the tone to host the same Beauty Pageant in 2022 alongside Miss Universe 1992 & Miss Namibia Title Holder, Michelle Mc Clean. In 2020, he hosted the Sotigui Awards (Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou) to date.
He has been a Tafel Larger Brand ambassador, a place he calls home.
